Evaluation

I used the software Thimble Mozilla which I created my website on.
From studying individual websites and what they are aiming across to their audience, the colours, the layouts and the fonts have a huge impact on what the website is based on. For example a Publishing website like Vogue, has a completely different target audience in comparison to a News website like the BBC. Looking at Official Music websites for bands and artists showed me the genre of the music that really had a big input with how the website looked. So I tried to use colours that would go with the genre of my band.
What benefited me the most with whilst working on my website was looking at different band websites that have the same genre as my band so it gave me guidance. I looked at Maroon 5, Two Door Cinema Club and Beyonces. It showed me different layouts and genres of music which portrayed a successful website to their fans and target audience.
I enjoyed making my own website however i experienced problems had never used Thimble Mozilla format. i also got confused with individual codes such 'CSS' and 'color' I also had to get used to using codes in American.
I kept changing my website and to make it the best i possibly could to try and make it match the genre of the band. I Experimented with fonts and where to place them and the size of my images used.
I found everything quite successful about this project, it was just getting used to using the website I was having difficulty with the most.
The main things I have learnt about this Project was that creating a website is difficult and needs a lot of patience. It defiantly is harder than it looks and takes some time to get used to the format  and to figure out how you want to arrange each individual section. Also to include little details like a contact button.
